i dreamt i dreamt a dream of her. i dreamed of her last night. like many times before she left quick from my sight. her skin so soft so pale glowing in the moon light. her hair long and dark dripping in midnight. the crimson luminescence slashed from her beating heart. i stand in shadow as the puzzle falls apart. with dreary content i drift to sleep in hopes of her again. the wood thick of darkness as i creep the sane, one sound my content friend to help me guide my way. the ever soft beating thud of an empty love. her love, my love reflected off the eyes hidden away from sight. the party laid forgotten as the search is far from light. in these dreams i hunt each night. my hope lays dead in the leafs beaten and torn. this is what she does to me my lovely little thorn. such a child lost and hidden. such a devil with her tricks. this is who she is. this is what i miss. so each night i lay in darkness for the dreams to take. with every prayer i pray with every breath i take. the secret thought of my One desire is to find the lady who stole my fire

It all starts caving in around; the ruble forcing its way threw the thick clouds of ashes falling at her feet. Standing at the edge tittering in the after of a world build on thoughts. Despite the decay the knocking can still be herd. The doors have been blasted from the safety of their haven hinges and still they knock.
Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
toeing the cracks her lungs ached with each pound; a force of breath never released. she knows she can never let him in. a virus fills the air as the smoke rises as it tell the story of all that has fallen and all who have left the emptiness. still she stands watching it all; this is her demise. here she stands in a land that only she can Rule. The creator of everything in her reach. Every soul and tree only breathed in her drowning thoughts of midnight hours. here in this every thought leaks free and gives her hope.
Your thoughts can only keep you safe when you have control. How quickly it all can spiral away by the slightest distraction. the walls burn leaving a ring of ashes and with each knock she remembers.
Knock.
Grey eyes peering down.
Knock.
Long fingers taping window glass.
Knock.
Shadowed face full of secrets.
she was lost. all control forfeited to whomever stood before her meddling. there is never a way out. standing on the edge about to jump to your death or burning alive. if only she can keep him out till its over. why wont he leave? everything burns and crashes and still he knocks. always the gentleman not entering unless invited. all delicate things mutilated under her wrath and he stood his ground. the forevermore knocking in her dazed head. the dreaming of a dream is all she ever was but here the tricks played were almost worth believing if they where anything but what they were. sticky lies of sweet nothing rotting her away like the virus she deserved. until there was nothing but her and the ash and the knocking.
Knock.
Knock.
Her voice strangled and torn from her in separation “please. Just please, not you”
The words echoed threw the nothing as the end took root. Each breath felt better and tasted more like dirt then the last. a small smile played on her lips. The loneliness a comfort she wrapped herself in.
Knock.
A cold tear burned down her skin. The acid ate its way threw her.
